Firewalker was written and directed by Melle Amade-Vice of JWalker Films, as her graduate thesis proejct at Chapman University School of Film and Television. Benjamin Con and Doris Casselton produced the film and Jeff Dolen served as the Director of Photography

Firewalker shot in the redwood forest of Navarro, a few hours north of San Francisco on October 3-10. The film is currently in post-production with an anticipated premiere in May 2005.

It follows a young foster child who discovers and Indian Reservation and tries to fit into their way of life, until social workers take her back to her abusive father.
